Environmental Policy
CRS, a company specializing in the hard chrome plating treatments, pursues its operating and strategic goals, in the knowledge that the care and protection of the environment are an essential part of its success and client and stakeholder satisfaction.
In order to achieve these objectives CRS:
- Performs its activities and services in compliance with the provisions of the law and regulations;
- It applies an effective Environmental Control System in accordance with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 14001 rules;
- Whenever possible it utilises the best technological solutions available so as to prevent environmental fallout that may result from emergency situations whilst increasing the reliability of running the plant.
- It manages its business from a standpoint of reducing waste and optimising energy consumption;
- It defines environmental objectives and targets to be integrated with operating management of the plant;
- It ensures that corporate development programmes are assessed from the standpoint of environmental sustainability and safety;
- It involves all human resources at the plant in achieving high levels of professionalism and responsibility, including by means of training activities;
- It has collaborative relations with Public Autorities; it is committed to providing timely and transparent responses.
- It makes its suppliers participants in its principles of good environmental management and is committed to communicating this policy to all persons working for the organisation;
